We don't know if Charles had any brothers or sisters. See notes under Harry Graboyes. Miriam (Graboyes) Kenter said Charles took the name "Charles" because it sounded more American and that his real name was Itzik or Seidel.
The story is, Charles came from a wealthy family but his father died young and his mother then married a man named Moranis. Itzik (Charles) had a number of half siblings and one half sister ended up in Argentina. He (Charles) married late in life; being many years older Than Freda Brooks. It was said he was waiting for an inheritance that he never got.
