Added the profile of Gasaraki.

Added profiles for Fred Luo and Mobile Suit Gundam. Also, fixed up a few more profiles.

Friday, November 23, 2001

Well, time for another update. I know it's taken awhile, as I've been real busy at work, plus all the cleaning up after the wedding. I added some new profiles (Master Roshi, Angel Links, Cowboy Bebop, Edward, Faye Valentine, Jet Black, Spike Spiegel, Roger Smith, and R. Dorothy Wayneright) and updated a bunch more.

At work I've mostly been working on The Making of Arc Collection disc, adding some really cool features while Arc the Lad III is being finished. I also got some more wedding pictures back, but haven't scanned them in yet.

Saturday, November 3, 2001

Hey all! Well, we had our wedding on Halloween, and it turned out pretty good. We had it in our backyard, so it wasn't very big, but we had a full turnout. Friends and family from both sides came, and all seemed to enjoy it. The ceremony took place in our gazebo, and was quite short.

I just got the first series of wedding pictures in, which were taken by my boss using his digital camera. There were a few other pictures, but they were all similar to the ones displayed here. Several other people took pictures, including the professional photographer, so I will be posting those as we get them.

Sorry, no updates yet. I've been real busy with our wedding plans and trying to get Arc Collection finished (Arc the Lad I and Arc the Lad II have both passed Sony Quality Assurance). There probably won't be many more updates until after our wedding, which is on Halloween. Things should pick up again shortly after that. By the way, today is my sister's birthday. Happy Birthday!

Added the profile of Suzuka. Changed the format of character names to the western format (first name - last name).

Wednesday, October 3, 2001

Added the profile of Aisha. Also changed the Anime and Character list indexes to include an option to display only U.S. or Japanese names.

Friday, September 28, 2001

Some new Sailor Moon profiles from Who Wants to Know?: Diana, Pegasus, Zirconia, Tiger's Eye, Fish Eye, Hawk's Eye, Queen Nehelenia, Celecele, Junjun, Vesuvesu, and Parraparra.

Three new profiles this time (Kimiko Ayanokouji, Ken-Ohki, and Trakal), plus a bunch of images for profiles that didn't have any. Oh yeah, and a new description for Gohan. I am beginning to keep track of both US and Japanese names, even if they are the same. This way I will be able to give the option to filter name lists by region. Right now they are all on the same list, but have these nifty little flags to distinguish the region: USA and Japanese.

What the...?! Another significant update?! Only a day after the last one?! Yep, this time I added the profiles of Jeff, Cliff, Ashitaka, Kagato, Satoshi, Cammy, Naru, and Vash. I still have a bunch more profiles to go, although a lot of them have extremely short descriptions so I have to throw them out.

At work today, I didn't get to work much on Arc the Lad III. Instead I was pulling out data from Arc the Lad II that will be put in the strategy guide. Man, you wouldn't think that would take very long, but there is a lot of stuff in that game and it's scattered all over the place. Oh yeah, and we got the rough cut for the Making of Arc the Lad Collection...most of it's pretty good, but I could do without my parts.

Friday, September 21, 2001

Back again, and with a bunch of updates this time. Actually, I don't even remember everything I updated, so I'm just going to list the new stuff. I added profiles for Blue Sonnet, Big-O, M.D. Geist, Wowser, Street Fighter II- The Animated Movie, Saber Marionette, Cherry, Lime, Nene, Flint the Time Detective, Flint, and Yuiren Sou. There are still many more to come, and I'll be getting to them as quickly as possible. At work, I am mainly focusing on Arc The Lad III now, although I continuously have to return Arc the Lad II and Arc Arena for miscellaneous tweaks.

Monday, September 10, 2001

Hey, not too many updates again this time, but there are a few. First I fixed a few profiles that had messed up formatting. Next I added a few shows to the Anime on U.S. Television page and updated the Companies page (thanks to Who Wants to Know?). Finally, I added the profiles of Outlaw Star, Gene, Melfina, and Nadesico, and changed the profile for Dragon Ball. At the work front, I was finally able to get the Arc the Lad II FMV animations to play back in 24-bit color. Now that's in testing and I'm working full force on Arc Arena. This weekend I took a little time off of the computer and chores, and watched Toy Story 2 and Digimon: The Movie. Toy Story 2 was good, as expected, but I was suprised by Digimon. It was extremely funny, or at least the first half was. The second half didn't seem quite as good, but perhaps I was just getting tired. Oh yeah, I also caught the show "The Amazing Race", which looks like it will be a much better watch than "Lost" which seemed kind of tame.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to update yet, so I just thought I'd let you know why. Yesterday we filmed the U.S. portion of The Making of Arc the Lad Collection, so nobody really got much work done during the day. I'm still trying to get the FMV (full motion video) animations to play in 24-bit color for Arc II, and am working on getting the Arc Arena title screen fixed up nice. We want to be able to send if off to Japan tommorrow so they can see how it's coming, and we need to have Arc II disc fixed and ready to go for another test tommorrow night.

Tuesday, August 28, 2001

Hi all. I've done a few updates last week, but don't remember all of which ones. I did split apart the Voltron profile to Voltron: Defender of the Universe and Voltron: Defender of the Near Universe. I also split apart Battle of the Planets, G-Force, Guardians of Space, and Eagle Riders. I am currently working on more updates, but have also been busy at work (I actually got the FMV animations in Arc the Lad to play back at 24-bit color!), and tommorrow is the filming for The Making of Arc the Lad Collection. Hope to have more updates soon.

Saturday, August 11, 2001

Wow, not even a week has past from the last update! This time I've added a bunch of Gundam Wing character profiles (and thanks to Who Wants to Know for helping me out with those) and a profile of Digimon. Well, I just had Lassiks eye surgery yesterday, and it seems to have gone pretty well. My vision is much improved, although still a little blurry, but hopefully that will go away along the the sensitivity to light.

Monday, August 6, 2001

Hello again! I know it's been awhile as I've been working six days a week for over a year now, but I'm finally back again with some new updates. So first off, here are some of the profiles that I added: Birdy the Mighty, Birdy Cephon Altera, Card Captors, Davis Motomiya, Maron, Kaoru Nagisa, Miaka Yúki, Tamahome, Azusa, Satomi, Yuzuru, Commander Breetai, Anubis, Cyprine, Dr. Souichi Tomoe, Eugeal, Helios, Kaori, Mimet, Ptilol, Telulu, Sakuya, Variable Geo, X

You might have also noticed that Absolute Anime has a new look. I've found that it makes the site look a lot better when viewed on higher resolution monitors.
