Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or known as AoStH is an American-French cartoon series, just like Sonic Underground and Sonic SatAM. The show is also related to Sonic SatAM or its chronology or contrasts with it. Both AoStH and Sonic SatAM were released in the same year, but AoStH has more episodes.

The show is mostly about the adventures Sonic and Tails have together battling Dr. Ivo Robotnik. As always, Dr. Ivo Robotnik wants to capture Sonic and take over Mobius, Sonic's home planet. Just like one of the old 90's Sonic shows, his characteristics are still the same. He still loves chili dogs, just like in Sonic Underground and Sonic SatAM. In some episodes he will look for chili dogs and chili dog vendors or kiosks. As we all know, Sonic always stops Robotnik's plans and gets to save Mobius all the time. Together with his best friend, Miles "Tails" Prower, they're always living the life, roaming anywhere like nomads, always carefree and looking for fun.

The main heroes are Sonic and Tails, and the main villains are Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his robotic henchmen, Scratch, Grounder, and Coconut, who always try their best to impress Dr. Robotnik. They're in a competition on who will get Sonic first.

The series is much of a slapstick type of comedy cartoon show. Most have watched this TV shows in the 90s, and on the Internet you can still watch them. This cartoon series does not really deal with serious issues or dilemmas; the situations in the episodes can be solved easily, you can often know what will happen next and that there will be a happy ending by the end of the episodes. This show is more on making the viewers laugh and enjoy the show very much.
