Character Description: Kai
Kai is another one of Kaneda's friends. He is a short, goofy kind of guy, but he really kicks when in gang fights. Only Yamagata and Kaneda can ride better. In the story, he is mostly a side-character. He's seperated from his friend the entire movie, but not from Tetsuo. Kai encounters Tetsuo in a bar, and barely made it out with his life. He isn't anywhere near the explosion at the end of the movie, so he survives.

Character Description: Kai
Kai is the shortest member of the Capsule biker gang. Though he is normally quiet, Kai can really kick it in gang fights. He is an equal rider to Yamagata. He is the only boy in the gang who lacks a girlfriend, probably because of his height.
Kai hangs around with Yamagata a lot, and appears to be the most affected by his death.
For some reason, he always wears a red tie, even when he's out biking.
