Kotaru-chan is a middle school student who obviously has a crush on Misaki. He is also tortured by Tamayo because she is learning martial arts and uses him a a punching bag. He realy wants Tamayo and Misaki to drop the "-chan" and call him "-kun" ("-kun" and "-chan" are both signs of respect, but "-chan" is mostly used for girls and young children).
