Character Description: Atlas
Atlas is one of Astroboy's greatest foes. Originally, Atlas was a boy robot like Astro, in fact he and Astro had identical abilities. He was used by Skunk to commit crimes and had faced off with Astro a number of times before he was destroyed. Atlas was rebuilt in his adult form as a highly advanced robot with the capacity to think like a human, thanks to the "Omega Factor" installed in him. The Omega Factor allows Atlas to be capable of great evil, but also gives him a conscience. He is bent on revenge against humans for the way they treat robots.
Atlas lives with his love, Livian, in a giant crystal shard called "The Crystal Castle". The castle is not only his home but also a powerful fortress with tremendous destructive abilities. Atlas' weapon of choice is a Lightning Saber, which he wields with deadly accuracy. It was later revealed that an evil scientist stole Astroboy's blueprints and used them as a mold for creating Atlas, making Atlas and Astro brothers.
