Character Description: Chiyo Mihama
Chiyo Mihama is the child prodigy and somewhat comic relief of Azumanga Daioh. She is shy at first, but kind of adapts to the classroom. The best thing about Chiyo is her intelligence, which a lot of people envy. She has a dog named Tadakichi-san (Mr. Tadakichi).
Chiyo-chan is rich, and faster than Osaka. She is also afraid of Miss Yukari's car (also known as the Yukari-mobile) because Miss Yukari doesn't pay attention to anything around her.
