Character Description: Miss Kagura
Very atheletic, Kagura is a member of the high school's swim team, and for the first year of high school was a member of Minamo Kurosawa's class. However, in her second year, she was transfered to Yukari Tanazaki's class, where she remained for the remainder of the series in high school (mostly because Yukari wanted to deny Minamo any advantage in future sports festivals). Although at first a rival to Sakaki, Kagura quickly became friends with the other girls in Yukari's class.
As with most atheletes, Kagura has a problem with her grades. For a brief time, she, Osaka, and Tomo (who were also struggling students) formed a group called "the Three Knuckleheads". She also took part in the girls' annual trip to Chiyo-chan's summer home. Of coures, by that time she's gotten a suntan from her swim team practices (but it leaves a very unflattering tan line).
