Tyson is, in short, a popular kind of guy. Confident, impulsive, happy-go-lucky but often hot-tempered, stubborn, and never afraid to say what's on his mind. He acts predominantly on feelings and emotions and is always ready to do anything for his friends.
He is embarrassed of his Grandpa, and loves to eat. He can be extremely lucky in bey-battle, even though he's sometimes blind to the most obvious things. His game plan is always based on attack.
Tyson gains a Bitbeast called Dragoon. It's a wind-elemental Bitbeast that can work with the spin in Tyson's Beyblade to create high-wind attacks. Upon improvements to Tyson's blade, Dragoon's Storm attack upgrades to the massive Phantom Hurricane.
Editor's Note: I'm told that Tyson's birthday was said to be November 23rd by the creator, Takao Aoki. I'm also told that a Japanese magazine listed his birthday as February 19th. If both of these are true, then I would take the word of the creator over the word of a magazine. Also, someone else said that he was born on May 5, 1989. If you know any more about this, please contact me. And on a side note, some fans think that the Taurus sign (which is April 20th–May 20th) fits him perfectly.

It would be cool if his birthday was February 19th like it said in the Japanese magazine because it's one day before by birthday.
