Character Description: Captain Gin Ichimaru
Ichimaru Gin is a badass captain who destroys any enemies in his way. Ichimaru Gin was believed to have killed Aizen, a different captain, but later we found out that Aizen's dead body was an illusion.
Ichimaru is always smiling and mocking others. Some characteristics of him include his annoying smile, his eyes that never show, his cocky attitude, and his eyebrows. When other Shinigami find out he's evil, one says "Damn Ichimaru he has funky eyebrows!"

I love him!!! Although he is a traitor and that he fought with Hitsugaya, I still love him!!! Also i think it's amazing everytime he opens his eyes... and that he has three different Eyecolors (greenish blue, yellow, red). HE IS AWESOME!!!

Gin is a genius of a Shinigami. He's a traitor; sly like a fox with a crafty mind and can slip away from any situation (and appear innocent) like a serpent. His most distinguishing features are his squinty eyes and unsettling smile. He's rather lax with a mild personality, though he generally gives off an uneasy feeling to those around him ... All you haters are simply jealous. Gin's one of the most interesting - and dare I say ... hellishly hot - characters. He's a major antagonist and a striking example of Tite Kubo's supporting cast and amazing character design. He's a man of secrecy and dark humour and his lack of a backup story gives more mystery to his shrouded morals and motives. Sure, he's a "creep" - well, I don't think so - but he's a character that makes the manga so ... fascinating (if that could be the word). His expression is haunting, timeless - "badass" as some would say. I'm currently very antsy to see what his bankai will look like and hope he will get more major appearances in the near future. I find his past-ties with Rangiku rather sad, considering what he did. Also, anyone figured - or at least have the slightest hint - of what Gin's motives are for leaving Soul Society and joining Aizen? I know Tousen (aka Blindman-o-Justice) left for justice or ... to take the "path of less blood shed" ... but Gin? I simply love this fox-faced man. He erupts my brain with so many questions.
Strange, isn't it ... that when looking into the present, if one was to ask, anyone and everyone would flatly say that Hitsugaya Toshiro is the era's prodigy? Additionally, the news of Gin having been a genius himself seems to be unimportant and forgotten knowledge, as no one says anything of it. Hm ... there's something knee-deep in all of this.
