Character Description: Jushiro Ukitake
Ukitake is a very sick man and because of his sickness (tuberculosis) his hair turned white. It was originally black. Despite this, Ukitake is very strong and powerful even though he can only fight in a short period of time, but every time that would happen he would leave the rest to Kaien Shiba, who is now dead. He, along with Shunsui, was also one of the first people to graduate Captain Yamamoto's academy. His closest friend is Shunsui Kyoraku.
Ukitake is the eldest in the Ukitake family. He has five brothers and two sisters. He is a very loyal man and always believes in himself and because of this a lot of people respects him. Like Kaien, Ukitake never gives up. His zanpakuoto (soul slayer) is called Sogyo no Kotowari which means Truth of Pisces.

hey im yulie but my friends call me yuu.i also have teberculosis and because i found out that ukitake had it i wanted to learn more about him.he is sooo cool!!!!hes kind smart and he really is verry loyal to his people that are close to him.i think that any woman who would be his(hopefully me lol)would be treated like queen!

If your talking about Ukitake's zanpakuto release commands it's "all waves rise up now and become my shield, all lightning strike now and become my sword" his zanpakuto is called sogyo no kotowari. Unfortunatly he hasn't used in bankai in manga or anime so no one knows it's release command or name. sorry. ... show more »
