Character Description: Kaname Tousen
Kaname Tousen is the former captain of the 9th division and Sousuke Aizen's commanding officer. He fought Uryu Ishida during the Soul Society saga.
He is blind and therefore was the only person to not be affected by Aizen's zanpaktou. He is on a path of justice, sort of like Megira from Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Tousen is not EVIL. Just because he joined aizen DOES NOT mean he is evil. And him saying he walks the path of least bloodshed means he won't fight unless he has to.

Sorry what I meant about Kaname Tousen being evil is that him siding with Aizen makes him a bad guy and he caused treason against soul society. And I do know all that ...... also I didn't say anything about Aizen being evil... I like Aizen he's cool :)

Wow, are you imbecilic "hypocrites" actually listening to your own words? I hear you whining about how Tousen is "evil." Actually neither Aizen OR Tousen are "evil." Anyone who says, "Tousen is evil because he joined Aizen," has not been paying any attention to the story. I can tell you what Tousen can "see" from his perspective about the path with less bloodshed. Tousen is right about joining Aizen. WHY?! The Seireitei and the Gotei 13 have MADE ((MANY)) enemies.
1) Bountos - Sereitei created the Bountos, then threw them out as if they were trash and garbage. Then, they sent out the Quincies to exterminate them.
2) Quincy - Not only do the quincies hate the Gotei 13 so much, but the Gotei 13 treated them like [censored] as well. Also, they used the Quincies as tools to destroy the Bountos.
3) Hollows - You should alreay know the story about them, but then again, you most likely don't, due to the veridical palpability you petulantly yell out, "Tousen is EVIL! He joined Aizen!," without speculating or knowing as to WHY Tousen joined Aizen, which in my opinion, IS the lesser path to bloodshed.
4) Amagai - Personal grudge against the Head Captain himself, Genyrusai Yamamoto.
5) Vaizards/Visoreds - The Seireitei and the Central 46 threw them out as well, because they become a "threat." Instead of treating them reverentially, they threw them the [censored] out.
6) Those ninja dudes. Can't remember their names.
As you can see, Tousen DOES have god reasons for joining Aizen, and in the end, Aizen could turn out to be the new Soul King and "good." Aizen is not evil. He is only trying to become the best, and he is solicitous for, thriving for more power, and vigorously training. This is what I respect about him.
Next time, pay attention to story before talking about your "opinions" of Tousen.
Oh, and about Zaraki, if Zaraki fought him again, which I hope happens, Tousen could take him. Zaraki was a plot-good guy at the time, so they had to make him invincle. If anyone else was up against Tousen, they would have been killed in seconds. ... show more »

He's a stupid hypocrite. "I will follow the path with the least bloodshed" indeed. When 10 people in front of him are all bloodied and dying. That hypocrite doesn't deserve to live.

Kaname Tousen is awesome, and he's not evil. He walks a path of justice and does it in a way he thinks is the best for him with the least amount of bloodshed by lord aizen's side.

Personally, though I don't like Tousen. He's self-righteous & he thinks he's better than everyone else. Not to mention, who the heck was he to go & challenge Kenpachi like that?
