Ryo Kunieda is a classmate of Ichigo and Orihime's. Like Uryu, she is an honor student and is ranked 2nd in academic achievements. Unlike most other members of Orihime's inner circle, Ryo is portrayed as a much more mature and serious individual. She doesn't seem to show interest or concern of her surroundings, though she chased Kon after deliberately stepping on him and discovering he could talk, wanting to sell him to a TV station. She has not displayed any unusual powers (most likely due to never being around Ichigo as a Shinigami at any known point in the series).
