Dice is a rough, rugged individual who has escaped from the military. He has made himself a home in a deserted area. Dice catches Marlene and Yuji swimming in a watering hole, and gives Marlene flack about her military ways. He becomes a solid friend of Yuji, and Dice explains to him about his unsettled score with a Blue. Later on he assists Marlene in finding Yuji, and helps them make it safely to the Baikanour Space Base.
