Bubblegum Crash takes place a year after Crisis. GENOM has apparently taken a vacation from their acts of evil, but new Boomer incidents soon arise. A crime wave brings the Knight Sabers back together after a long period of inactivity.

A mysterious voice seems to be leading this new wave of Boomer crimes, and they all seem to be involving the creation of a new Artificial Intelligence. The Knight Sabers are called in to protect Adama, which may lead to a whole new evolution of Boomer.
