Anime Description: Carried by the Wind: Tsukikage Ran
Carried by the Wind is set in the Edo or Tokugawa period (1600-1868). It's the story of Ran, a female wandering samurai whose skill with the sword is only matched by her desire for rice wine (sake). Ran is often joined by Meow [Myao], a traveling martial artist who is described as having "the heart of a saint and the brains of an empty liquor bottle. Together, Ran and Meow fight bandits and other assorted antagonists.
