Chrono Crusade takes place in Brooklyn, NY in the roaring twenties (1928, to be precise). Demonic Sinners run rampant in the economic prosperity brought after the Great War, and its up to an organization called the Magdalene Order to try and counter this force. Two of its exorcists are Sister Rosette Christopher and her assistant, Chrono.
The 16-year old nun, Sister Rosette Christopher of the Magdalene Order and her demon partner Chrono are charged with the duty of exorcising demons through the use of gospel bullets. They may be only a small part of the special demon exorcising group, which is filled with many nuns with guns, but they are an integral part....
The nun with a gun and the devil are also looking for Rosette's brother Joshua. For their missions, they've got a perfect selection of divine arms such as guns that shoot special bullets for victory against the devils. If they are going to defeat Aion, the leader of the sinners, they need all the firepower they can get.
Be prepared as they take a ride down a road to hell, leaving nothing but wrecked cars and destroyed buildings.

The ending song for the anime " sayonara solitaire", is one of the saddest songs I ever heard. Every time I listen to it, I get the feeling like I'm gonna cry. TT _ TT
