Character Description: C.C.
The mysterious green-haired girl who changed Lelouch's life forever. They first met each other during a terrorist attack on Tokyo (in retaliation for Britannian imposition upon Japan, now Area 11). Lelouch had been hiding within a truck supposedly carrying a gas bomb, but when the bomb casing opened, what was revealed was not gas but a girl suspended in a capsule full of fluid. Then, as Lelouch was being threatened by Britannian soldiers, she suddenly appears again and is gunned down by the soldiers. But as she seemingly lay lifeless, Lelouch felt her touch his mind with a proposal: in exchange for a unique power, he must grant her one wish in the future. Lelouch accepts, and she grants him Geass, the "Power of the King": specifically, the ability to command absolute obedience.
Some time later, Lelouch receives another surprise. The girl he thought to be dead was alive and well... and living in his house! Following the shock, a few facts begin to emerge. She calls herself C.C., and since the two of them had a pact, she would see to it that he lived up to his end of the deal, even to the point of throwing herself into danger if necessary. Eventually, she is revealed to the organization Lelouch had created, the Black Knights, and she gains status as one of Lelouch's closest advisers, even if her relation with the rest of the Black Knights can be rather strained.
C.C.'s unusual nature is revealed in season two. She is one of the keepers of the Code, a power tied into the very fabric of humanity. It is the the Code that allows C.C. to grant the power of Geass to people such as Lelouch. Being a keeper of the Code means other things. For one, the Code leaves its mark: in her case, high on her forehead (though normally concealed by the bangs of her hair) and in a scar under her left breast. For another, C.C. is immortal, having lived for an unknown number of centuries (her earliest memories date back to what appear to be medieval times) and having endured numerous painful deaths and executions (including beheading and burning at the stake) only to revive, survive, and continue living looking no different than the day she was given the Code. She is also immune to the power of Geass and has other less-specific powers of mind.
Her long life and many painful experiences seem to have caused C.C. to form a mental shell, making people uneasy around her. She keeps her own counsel, often appearing very detached and isolated, and she often does what she wants in her own way, regardless of how others feel. If this weren't enough to make people afraid of her, when she is alone, C.C. sometimes seems to hold conversations with people no one else can hear or even see.
If C.C. has a weakness, it's a taste for pizza (the Japanese Pizza Hut sponsored the show, allowing their logo to appear in the show--episodes shown on American television blur out the logo since it's not sponsored in America). Although she is rather sarcastic and stubborn, she grows to like Lelouch, perhaps even love. C.C accompanies and helps Lelouch on his path to destroying Britannia.

Lelouch never died. Proven by the name of 2nd season of CG, which is R2, where R = L of the japanese (Rolo = Roro) and 2 from CC or C2. R2 is taken from Rerouch, and is usually like a code bearer (C2, V2)/.
