Apollo was a cybernetic solider who was created by former Black Ghost scientist Dr. Gaia. His "twin" sister is Artemis. Like all Mythos Cyborgs, all memory of his past as a human was removed and was made to believe he was a deity. Apollo can shoot a laser from his right index finger and generate a lot of heat energy for more deadly attacks.

He attacked the general public, gaining the attention of the 00 Cyborg team, who followed him and his cohorts to their island home. He's very fond of Artemis, whose death affected him the most and vowed vengeance on the 00 Cyborgs. Upon learning the true identity of his "sister's" murderer and his own as a Cyborg, he (losing a reason to live) refuses to leave the island as it was destroyed....

In Greek mythology, Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt, and Apollo is the God of prophesy and music. Our guy doesn't look like a God, but he looks like his head might be on fire, and he wears Greek/Roman clothes.
