Saehara is one of Daisuke's friends from school. His father is the police chief who is constantly trying and failing to catch Dark. Saehara is a reporter for the school newspaper and writes headline stories about Dark's latest thefts.
He lives alone with his father, and as such, does all the housework. In the manga, it is understood that he is a very good cook. He also doesn't hesitate to tell people his honest opinion about touchy topics, such as how Risa's cooking is absolutely terrible. He's one of the funnest and funniest characters to watch in the anime, in my opinion.

Has anyone ever done the "Whos Your DN Angel Boyfriend?" quiz on theotaku.com? I ended up getting stuck with Daisuke twice, Satoshi once, Takeshi twice (the second time was on purpose tho...:)), and Krad twice BUT NOT DARK!!!!!!!! BUMMER!!!!!
