Anime Description: .hack//sign

This anime is about a computer game called the world, where people can chat and trade, form parties, and battle. However, there is a character, Tsukasa, who is trapped in the world and cannot logout or leave.

Tsukasa is a wavemaster, which is basically a mage, but he doesn't use magic. Instead, he has some unique abilities, such as a monster that defeats enemies for him.

When he meets some people, he decides to listen to them, since they may be his ticket out of the world.

Anime Description: .hack//sign

In the near future, a massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) becomes exetremely popular. This game is called "The World."

Tsukasa is the main character, and when he tries to log out of the game, he realizes he is unable to, and now he is stuck in "The World."

During the series, Tsukasa wanders around trying to find out why he is unable to log out. Along the way he meets many different characters, such as Mimiru, Bear, B.T., and Subaru.

Tsukasa also runs into a cat-like player, Maha, which he is asked about by the Scarlet Knights (Crimson Knights), because this cat player is "illegal" in "The World." He also is brought to a place with a floating girl above a bed. Later we find out the girl's name is Aura. Tsukasa then gains the power of a "guardian", but this power is capable of hurting the player inside of "The World" as well as in real life. The anime also revolves around "The Key of the Twilight" which everyone wants to find.

Overall I think this is a great anime, though there is no violence to really speak of, I would give this anime an 8 out of 10.

Reki doesn't belong here. He's only in .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet.
