Character Description: Cell
Cell is an android made by Dr. Gero, that was programmed to achieve his ultimate form. To do this, he had to absorb the androids #17 and #18 to become imperfect and perfect Cell. He succeeds in doing so, only to be brought down and killed by Gohan.
Cell has three forms, and he changes by absorbing people.
Later, in Dragon Ball GT, during the Super Android 17 Saga, Cell, along with Frieza, stay behind in Hell/HFIL to gain revenge against Goku, who was trapped in Hell/HFIL.
Cell's Age
If Gero was creating Cell around the same time as Android 17 and Android 18, then he would have been released during the alternate future timeline, and then went back in time via Trunks' time machine and laid dormant for a few years... which would make him at least 18 years old... wouldn't it? The whole time travel and alternate timelines can make things like this confusing.
