Toma is Bardock's best frend (he is the reason why Bardock is wearing a red bandana). After killing Tooro, they send Bardock to a recovery room to heal.

While Bardock is recovering, Toma and the rest of the crew go to a planet where they are all killed by Dodoria's men. Before Toma dies, he tells Bardock to kill this rat Frieza!
