Anime Description: Fighting Spirit
Ippo Makunouchi was always the victim in High School, however all of that changed one day when a boxer named Tamakura saves him from a routine beating. Gaining the need to become stronger after that moment, Ippo aspires and trains to become a boxer with the encouragement of Tamakura.
Ippo's trainers become impressed with his endurance, and he begins to learn more and work his way up. This is only the beginning of the saga of Ippo's journey to become the best the world of Boxing has to offer.
