Once of the Four Lords of Gaudium who serve the Earl, his attacks deal with fungi/poison and such. He always had a pipe in his mouth, which he shoots steam out. Fungus was supposedly unable to die, even if chopped into very small pieces. Though he ends up one-tenth his size and embarrassingly waits until he's full-size again to do anything. He proved to be quite a formidable foe, with a deep desire to impress the Earl.

When Fungus failed to retrieve a part of Omega, Oscha took Fungus to what remained of Fungus' home world, where he was a high-ranking general. He used his world's power to become a giant and managed to beat Kaze down. However, the whole thing ends up being a trap by Oscha and the Earl to dispose of Fungus for his uselessness by having both him AND his world infected with the same black-mold they used to destroy his world before, nourishing Chaos in the process. Kaze ended Fungus' suffering and gave him a honorable death.
