Has anyone seen this movie?
It's frickin' crazy.
Heroin addicts.
Junkies.
Dead babies.

Probably the best scene is when Renton OD's on heroin and freaks out in his bedroom at his parents how. With the baby on the ceiling and such.
Love the movie, and the book is crazy too.
I felt like a race horse in a world without racetracks or a champion college footballer suddenly confronted by Wall Street and a business suit, his days of glory shrunk to a little gold cup on his mantel with a date engraved on it like a tombstone.

I really am ashamed I havent seen it yet, considering I would probably love it - but its set in edinburgh...I am from glasgow, I cant mix with that T-T

It is a pretty awesome movie, though. So you should step beyond your Glasgow pride and just watch it.

It's really worth it, if you ask me. It's about a few scottish junkies who spend their days shooting up heroin. One of them, Renton, decides to straighten out his life. And it works, but then they all get him back into his old habits. And they shoot up more heroin, and make deals with drug dealers. And yeah, its awesome.
