I just know this movie's gonna suck. It's not like the Dragonball that I know in love because MAster Roshii should be a perverted hermit raather than just a martial arts master, Bulma should be looking for Dragonballs, Chi Chi should wear chinese glothing, and the saiyans don't look like what they usually look like (except for Goku). However, I do give the movie props for keeping the live-action version of King Piccolo accurate because when I saw this picture and this picture of Piccolo, I thought they screwed up his image by making him look like an albino vampire until I saw more pictures of him like this one. Then I found out that they just kept Piccolo as a green-skinned alien.

But other than that, this movie's gonna be pure garbage.

It will be sad.

There is no Krillin. Goku's in high school. Piccolo doesn't have antenna. Bulma doesn't have blue hair. And there's some background story on the dragonballs that doesn't even match the manga/anime.

I'm still gonna see the movie so I can laugh at it.

Yea I noticed the story doesn't match, which got me thinking maybe Dragon Ball Evolution is maybe a live action add on to the storyline. its a stretch but its possible.

I am going to give this movie the benefit of the doubt because i am a hardcore DB/DBZ fan. It doesnt look close to the series or manga but i could be fun to watch.

Did you know that the director was assigned to three movies but he wishes to make five or seven. So this could be a start of a good cairn of movies. I mean the first one has the main characters of Piccolo and Goku, just like in the Dragonball series. So the others when then follow Dragonball Z and GT.

I don't know about that, Sparx. I mean, alot of it seems estranged. I think it will be good in its own way, but not in the way I remember DB from when I was younger.

Also, a friend of mine said that the second movie is supposed to begin production and will be released in the next few years or something like that. Its supposed to have Vegeta in it.

I agree with you about it being good in it's own way.

Yeah, it will most likely be between the years of 2011 and 2013.
