The Next gen is almost here and will be soooooo totaly FRIGGING SWEET!!!!!!!!So which one r u gonna get? Xbox 360,PS3,Or REVOLUTION!!!!! just to say, Xbox is going for $400+ with 2 controlers an xbox live subscrption,a headset and of corse the xbox 360. The PS3 is goin for about the same but no one has released details Y it is so expensive.(maybe online subscription too,who knows) and the Revo is goin for $200+. WOOT!that one is the one im getting.if anyone cares.then maybe the 360.

I'm going for a 360 first. Then I'll get a PS3 because where else will I get my Gundam fix? Then maybe if Nintendo gets a decent controller I might honor the Revolution with my money...

Nintendo has always been great for putting forward very strange and new ideas...I admire that but it mite only appeal to a smaller market than the PS3 and xbox 360...

I gotta admit the more information I read about Revo's controllers the more interesting they become there design may seem silly, or ridicous, or stupid to people but you got to think about function too what it is with some people is that they fear change but this new controller could open up new possibilities for gaming in the future.

Well, Revo has only managed to make producers "intrigued." Whetehr or not the console will actually get suppport is still quite uncertain. IMO, PS3 will become the winner here. But 360 is a great online system, so I'll get that first. Then PS3. And I might just consider Revo.

(said by viece pres.of sony in reactin to Revo's controller) and "Youre loking at the key to winning the console war" (said by Metal Gear Solid 4 creator in raction to revo controler) hmm....any one have second thoughts?

You've read incorrectly. I've read a similar article. Kojima-Sensei has secured his thought that the Revo controller will allow for some interesting and innovative gameplay. He said this with a positive connotation. Nintendo has stated themselves that the Revo is designed to be a system that anyone, videogame friendly or not, can play and enjoy, hence the unique remote control style controller. Nintendo was trying to make the controller like this. "Very few people will pick up a videogame controller and play a videogame. It is too complex. But anyone will pick up a remote control. That is what we are trying to accomplish. To make a system that is more innovative and universal, with less attention on high technology. We want people to enjoy our console universally." Nintendo

i'll probably get the revolution for Super smash bros.so i can play as Wario and Diddy Kong as well as all the originals in new graphics.but the issue of that controller is still burned into my mind...

EXACTLY!It is still that DAM control!I hope they change the desighn a little.they hsve about 4 months,they should chang ethat and maybe the name of the system,remember,it is only a code name so far,at E3 the revolution had the revolution name on its side, In the tokyo game show that dissapeared.....
