Re: re: Tales of Symphonia.
I agree that Square (now Square-Enix) did a lot of awesome games in the past. Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES is proof of that. It´s since FF7 I´ve started to dislike this company. I think their games gets worse and worse. Many people worship FF7 and the later FF games because the old ones (except for 3) never made it out of Japan. Personally, I think Square has lost it but I don´t blame anyone for thinking otherwise.ÇoÏder~ËÎèmèÑt.. wrote:Dont go as far as to Dog out Square Enix, back in the day on the original NES they made history with FINAL FANTASY there bench mark RPG.

Absolutely not. Symphonia is a Gamecube game that was ported over to the PS2. The PS2 version is only available in Japan.Homunculus_Envy wrote:Yea Im sure. They put it on PS2 first then to gamecube.

Re: re: Tales of Symphonia.
I kind of agree with Enigma on this one...since FF3 and Secret of Mana, Squaresoft has lost their touch, at least for me. The only one that I like on any of the new-ish systems is FF9, only because I like the graphics, not the plot. Tsk, tsk Squaresoft, for not being as good as you once were.Enigma wrote:I agree that Square (now Square-Enix) did a lot of awesome games in the past. Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES is proof of that. So true. I´m not against the new console games in any way but the games in the SNES era are the greatest.Fall Out Girl wrote:Schwah! Yes it does. Video games just haven't been the same since SNES...
That reminds me, I should start playing this game again.Fall Out Girl wrote:I miss my Secret of Mana...*sob*

re: Tales of Symphonia.
My sister's boyfriend has a cheat or something (like a glitch in the game) that makes it so you can get the REAL all powered up Mana Sword. Lol...wonder if it works..

Re: re: Tales of Symphonia.
I´ve heard of a few glitches in the game, but none of those were safe to use because it could erase all data.Fall Out Girl wrote:My sister's boyfriend has a cheat or something (like a glitch in the game) that makes it so you can get the REAL all powered up Mana Sword. Lol...wonder if it works..

Besides, it´s collecting everything that matters. No cheating.

Haha...the reason I got so far in FF3 was by cheating...well, kinda. I used a Strategy Guide thingy, but I didn't follow all of the directions exactly, so I got stuck at the halfway point.

Re: re: Tales of Symphonia.
I only use a strategy guide when I´ve completed a game enough times and I want to find every single thing in the game. (items and such)Fall Out Girl wrote:I used a Strategy Guide thingy, but I didn't follow all of the directions exactly, so I got stuck at the halfway point.

You know, I don't think I have ever been able to finish a game. Sad...

re: Tales of Symphonia.
Yeah, I suppose so, but I don't even have enough patience to finish the original Super Mario Bros. I get bored and frustrated from dying too much, so I give up and don't play it for like a year. Then I forget where I am and what I'm doing and then I can't finish the game.
