re: WWE vs Tna
Right now, I apologise if this is too long, but this is just how I post. I try to make sure I back my statements up. So for those who are too lazy to read everything, here is my opinion.
Both are good, but TNA is somewhat better than the WWE.
WWE has better storylines, better commentaters, better budget, and a better ring (I hate the hexagonal ring) but TNA has better skilled wrestlers, and in general is more fun to watch. The first time I watched an X-Division match, my jaw dropped. (That name has to go though, I keep thinking of something more distracting when I think of the name TNA. ><)
TNA is amazing because it has so many great and well established wresters, as well as many new talented wrestlers. Some of the older wrestlers include Jeff Hardy, Raven, Sabu, The Dudleys, Rhino, and Christian. All of these are talented former WWE wresters, whom had never been given the push that they deserved. Hell, Rhino was the ECW World Heavyweight Champion at one point. On WWE? He was feuding with La Resistance on Heat. A tremendous waste of talent.
The newer next generation wrestlers include the amazing Samoa Joe, who was one of the finest wrestlers in the Ring of Honor, Christopher Daniels, once known as the greatest wrestler working the independent circuit, and AJ Styles, purely phenomenal. (All three of these wrestlers can change their wrestling styles on the fly, brawling, going lucha, and going technical. The three way between Joe, Daniels and AJ cemented my love of TNA, Seeing a 300 pound guy flying like a falling piano is truely amazing XD)
I also particularly hate the way the WWE treats its wrestlers and handles its belts. I was shocked and outraged when I found out that the WWE fired Matt Hyson (a.k.a. Spike Dudley) via a cellphone call in the middle of the night. Quite impersonal, and very insulting to fire a hard worker in such a flippant way.
I also detest how the WWE puts over talented wrestlers to push talentless wrestlers. The fact that John Cena is the WWE Champion is a disgrace, as his wrestling arsenal simply consists of a standard punch, a kick, a clothesline, a shoulder takedown, a fist drop, a belly-to-back suplex, a rare Fisherman's suplex, a dumbed down Death Valley Driver (a.k.a. the FU), and now it has increased to add an STF. It is quite amazing that this "wrestler", who should be feuding with Viscera on Heat, is acually the WWE Champion. The WWE has been making many mistakes of late, and this is one of them.
However, I still do enjoy the WWE, as it does have some good, if underused, wrestlers. It is nice to see so many talented cruiserweights on the WWE, wrestlers like Psychosis, Super Crazy, Juvetud, Paul London, Jamie Noble, Chavo Guerrero, Ray Mysterio, and my personal favorite, Gregory Helms. Its other divisions are somewhat of a mixed bag though, THough it has/had wrestlers like Benoit, Angle, and the amazing late Eddie Guerrero, they also have those like MnM, Heidenreich, Garrison- I mean Lance Cade and Rosey.
So while I still like the WWE, TNA is still better in my opinion. Hopefully, TNA becomes much bigger and will start to compete with the WWE. I believe that having competition will encourage Vince to work harder and better; I really hope to see the WWF(E) of the Attitude Era back again.
