each captain has a crest on thier back I've tried to find it or what it means (my friend is going as soi fong for cosplay next year) so could someone get me a clear pic of her crest thanks

The crests? Oh, you mean on their shinigami clothes. The things on their back is just the Japanese kanji for the squad number that they command. If you know what squad she's a captain for, then that should help. If not, I can do it for you.

I couldn't make the kanji in a thicker format without it looking just like bars since the stroke on their clothes is rather fancy like the picture I just linked. This is something I made, but if you have episode 31, it's the Houkiboshi ending with Soi Fong and her Lieutenant in it and that would probably be easier on you.

Is she a captain of a squad? I thought she was the commander of the special squads? Don't remember the exact name for those squads, but Yoruichi was the former commander of them.

the special ops shes both acutally. When yourichi left Soi fong was given her rank of special ops commander and shes an over achiver so she got the 2nd squad captinship as well

Aha, that clears out everything...I never took much interest in her since she doesn't even have a soul slayer :p

she has a sanpaktu its a katana when sealed and when not it turns into a special assasian's dagger which connects to the middle finger and if she stabs someone in the same place twice they die(the spot is marked with a butterfly) she just perfers the use of her taijutsu

Oh, I didn't know that was her sanpaktu, I just thought that was her weapons :p I always saw her as a uhm....not really Shinigami yah know? lol but I guess I was wrong. But not that I care, I dont like her anyways...:/ I wanna see more of Komamura

Soi Fong's zanpakutou, the Suzumebachi, is pretty neat though. It got Yoruichi on the run, but I wonder how she managed to get the Houmonka mark off her... probably because Soi Fong removed it. I can't quite remember that episode.
