I like a little bit of all kinds of music. The genre of music that I lean more to, though, is Rock.

In my opinion, I don't think that rap and rock should conflict each other, or that anyone should veiw them in a way that would suggest that. It's all music, man, can't the genre's just live in peace?

Anyway, I'd have to agree with what Jiraiya is saying; Rock did in fact originate from the old black soul and blues music (Which I like, BTW, it's good music).

Rock is best because it has power and meaning behind it's lyrics and rhythems. Only a limited amount of Rap has meaning (let alone power) in it's lyrics. Last time i checked, nailing a hoe in the @$$ wasn't that powerful.

i agree that it does take talent to make a rap. to make a GOOD rap i s quiet dificult
