Metal Gear Solid 4?

I was wondering if anybody has any insight into MGS 4? From the trailers I have gotten to see, it appears Snake is a lot older and has an eye patch. So this made me think is that really snake or is it BIG BOSS? I was just wondering if anybody else noticed this.

Yeah that actually happens the second MGS for Nes, but then how does Snake loose his eye and age so much?

What Hideo has said the eyepatch is really alittle computer type system of the sort. Solid Snake hasn't lost an eye... He also said in an interview for Game Informer that Snake's aging has to do with something wrong in his DNA since he is a clone of BB...

He also let slip that they might be doing something for the 360. Weather or not it'll be a port of MGS4 of a whole new and different MGS (maybe with Raiden as the main char?) is left unsaid...

OK, you make some good points, by the way teh spoiler that was posted about MGS3, you do not play as Solid Snake you are actually Big Boss. If you have beat the game then you would know that, you earn the title after you defeat The Boss, then after the ending credits it shows a time line of events that happen after the game ends and before MGS starts.
