Well now based on what you have seen... I think the best choice is to go start watching everything Ghost in the Shell... Follow that up with Armitage the Third and Armitage Dual Matrix before finding Genocyber... If you've seen AD police you might as well go and watch both Bubblegum Crisis series and follow that up with Jin-Roh The Wolf Brigade..

I'm with Lestat69_99, try out Ghost in the Shell the movies, they are great! I would also suggest to you Last Exile, it's very action-packed and has a lot to impress an upcomming anime fan. And Neon Genesis Evangelion is a classic, I know you'll love that!

Let's see,Macross plus,Texhnolyze I suggest this one because if u like FMA then you'll like Texhnolyze it's a little similar to FMA, but not to much.And Appleseed is pretty good if your into cyborgs, and all that cool stuff.I'm not sure exactly if Gundress qualifies or not, I think it would.
