I am going with ps3, and not just because they will once again have worlds most comfortable controller but because I just want to. There are lots of reasons.

If the baby's who complain alot dont purchase one (there are lots) than it will be easy for me to stand in a small line and purchase one. So go ahead and whine lol.

All Sony did was innovate a little. Sure, Nintendo had the idea, but who will use it for the better. In all fairness, Nintendo will, b/c thats what Wii is all about. But Sony will allow the "6 Degrees of Freedom" to enhance what will already be spectacular games.

Lots of people have high expectations for Final Fantasy 12 but ever since FF9 the series has been going down hill in my opinion

I'm going for the Wii and if the price goes down, the 360. After doing some research on the PS3, I can say that though I was not eager for it before, I have no intention of buying the PS3 at all anymore. I care nothing for online play or for the hideously expensive Blu-Ray format, so the PS3 has nothing I want on it. So far, none of the games have caught my attention, so I don't think I will be getting a PS3. The use of the old Dual Shock design also irritated me, as I never liked the placement of the analog sticks. The lack of the rumble feature is also a big turnoff. I would have also preferred that the rumble feature be kept in, instead of the new tilt feature. While the unveiling of the new feature is rather convienient, I think the main reason the PS3 added the tilt feature because of the lawsuit over the rumble patent violations. Since they didn't settle the lawsuit, They needed to make a new gimmick up to replace the rumble feature. Needless to say, I'll be fine with my old PS2.

I once said that when the ps2 first came out than they came out with several great games and so it began....I finnaly purchased one and it was a good move. I would not say things like that If I was you, you will probally purchase one when the price goes down, bcause I am sure they will have some mecha action games, as in gundam. Kick ass is to be expected.

MGS 4 is not the only spectaular title. PS3 also has ORIGINAL titles, such as Heavenly Sword, a new and promising action adventure game. How about Killzone? Devil May Cry 4? Do I even need to say FFXIII? Not to mention that Sony's current popular franchises will grow and evolve on PS3. I know it hasn't been announced, but it certainly will be, Kingdom Hearts III. A potential God of War III.

I think everyone has their viewpoints here. And I certainly enjoy conversing and arguing over the topic because I have an opinion, one that should not, can not , and will not topple others. Likewise, I'd like to hope others on this thread feel the same way.

And Kazuma, I said Sony will make it better for their aimed style of play in their games. It's rather obvious that Nintendo will dominate in the innovative department. But certainly dont think that Sony's apparent "gimmick" will be a waste of time.

The 360 is getting it's own Gundam game as well so Sony will not be the only one. Then there is Chrome Hounds and hopefully the possibility of new Mechassault games.... As for the gundam game it will be call Mobile Ops: The One Year War and it starts at the very begining of the war to give those who aren't versed in U.C. a chance to actually know the WHOLE story.

On the PS3's behalf they will have some decent games of their own. Assassin's Creed looks promising and of course they'll probably get some Armored Core games as well. But still since I don't have parents that will buy one for me....Wait... maybe I can get the Oil Company that's going to put that pipeline through our land to buy one as part of our payment? Hmmm That maybe an idea... I'm just going to wait for alittle bit first...(As if I don't have enough games to finish...)

I know! I see screen's of the "One Year war" game for the x-box 360, looks good so far and you can actualy climb aboard a gundam with your lil man lol. I like what I have seen so far.
