Ichigo doesn't impress nor interest me as a character. He doesn't really have any interesting qualities or quirks that make him likeable. He's kinda dull and boring. Furthermore, it was silly and unrealistic as to how strong he became in such a small period of time. Yeah, I know it's a shounen series but still even for shounen I found it to be ridiculous. The only thing I really like about him is his zanpaktou because it kills things.

Well I cannot blame you for your own opinion, personaly I think he is funny when he gets mad.

it bugged me too how he was always stronger than anyone he faced without putting much effort into it, the only real fight he ever had was Vs kenpachi, his fight against byakuya, although freak'in cool, was pretty easy for ichigo.

because he DID had some help. though the hollow persona in ichigo is very interesting, the sadistic way he acts and how he's always laughing in the way he does....so freaking cool.

and ichigo's arguments with rukia, kon, renji and especially ganju(sp?) are always hilarious. the fights over rukias drawings will always have a special place in my heart.

And yeah I agree, but goku was much like ichigo in DBZ lol and no one realy cared. I just like ichigo cause he can be a bad ass sometimes, with all that darn power. LOL Yeah rukias crappy drawing haha.

hmm... i wonder is yuzu and karin will devolop powers like chad and orihime did when theyre older.

he dad is a captian level shinigami which would make him half shinigmai so i am not surpired he is that strong

Ichigo isn't my favorite character at all. I believe he is too much of a typical character in any anime series...

Goku actually had to go through rigorous training for years and he had the burning to desire to push himself and test his limits. Not to mention even with all that he was still overpowered by many of his foes and barely managed to defeat them. Ichigo is rarely seen training hard for extended periods of time. He reached the combat level of a captain way too fast. It should have taken him anywhere from decades to centuries of training to reach such a level of strength even if he was gifted.

Look at Hitsugaya. The gifted child prodigy boy genius. It took even him over a century to reach captain level. And Hitsugaya's bankai still is incomplete too. Therefore, it is absurd for Ichigo to reach such a level in just a few days or weeks. Not to mention obtaining bankai in just a day or two.

I agree. I didn't like that either. How he just SUDDENLY is able to be at Captian level THAT fast. I find that B U L L.

Agreed. Rukia has lived ten times longer than Ichigo but she isn't a captain nor does she possess a bankai.

Than again if you all wish to get technical... DBZ as well as any power house anime is of course not real. LOL Its there for a reason, to make things interesting, not to make sense. I love it, just as I enjoyed dbz when I was small.

as far as the bankai goes hitsugaya trained to get his the normal way, ichigo took the shortcut aka Urahara's way and got in about 3 days, overall though i believe the series has tried to compensate for ichigo rapid gain in ability by having both

Everyone has room for growth in Bleach. What I'm saying is that the rate that Ichigo is gaining strength is preposterous. They'll probably announce that he's somehow ready to take on Aizen in about a dozen chapters or so. Total B.S.

This quote has alot of meaning as he is a wise man, he just enjoys his anime and does not realy break it down much. Great guy. If its not interesting he will often wonder why, but thats as far as he goes..
