as far as the bankai goes hitsugaya trained to get his the normal way, ichigo took the shortcut aka Urahara's way and got in about 3 days, overall though i believe the series has tried to compensate for ichigo rapid gain in ability by having both

dont know if that was much of a spoiler, i just know it hasn't appeared in the anime or manga volumes over here yet

Than again if you all wish to get technical... DBZ as well as any power house anime is of course not real. LOL Its there for a reason, to make things interesting, not to make sense. I love it, just as I enjoyed dbz when I was small.

Honeslty I don't even think about it ok who cares if he has gained powers in a shorter rime then others hes the main character it doesn't really matter to me but if you guys want to get techinical then hey maybe he is gifted or something whos knows???

also his father Isshin was a very strong captain with alot of spirit energy, and since shinigami powers run in a family, having a father with a massive amount of power will most likely have children with massive amounts of power.

Really what it boils down to is the fact that Tite Kubo wanted it that way.

I am aware that his father used to be a shinigami captain but that still doesn't make his strength growth any more rational. Factor in that he's gifted too if you like it's still doesn't provide a reasonable explanation for his power to grow so drastically in such an extremely small period of time.

I understand dude but would you have watched to show if it had all the training time fillers plus Urahara had figured out a way to get your bankai in three days to save time and maybe the 10tens ichigo was training in the reall world was a speacial way that Kisuke trained or something also remeber he was once the 12 squad captain he know AL OT about spriatial power and how much power peopel have maybe he figured out ways to shorten trainiing time you evr thought of that

Fillers? I read the manga; I don't watch the silly anime. Look at Dragonball Z, Naruto, and Yu Yu Hakusho. They show the characters training hard and giving it their all to become stronger. But not for Ichigo. No siree. Just a couple days of training to get your bankai and after wandering around Soul Society for a short period of time suddenly he's ready to fight and defeat people of Kenpachi's and Byakuya's caliber. Ludicrous.

Urahara is indeed knowledgeable about reitsu and the like but acquiring bankai in just a couple of days and actually being able to use it correctly and effectively against someone with combat prowess like Byakuya is just not plausible. It takes a least a decade to acquire and learn to properly utilize bankai.
