I made this thread, because i wanted to see if there was a SINGLE person on this forum whop wasn't a poser thinking they were metal. I am sick of going on forums, and hearing "OMG! Seriously, think before you assume. If this was one of those threads, don't you think it would say "Metal is awsome" instead of "Are there any true Metal music fans here?". So, please STOP ASSUMING THINMGS YOU DON'T KNOW!

korn, system, slipknot, they are all metal. all this thread seems to be doing is bashing those who do like these bands, and the sub genre they go under. i dont like korn, or dimmu bogir, i do like nickelback, but i dont call myself a metalhead. i just say "This is my taste in music, if ya dont like it, f**k off"

Well, I think Nightwish is Power Metal.
Cradle of Filth is Black Metal and Iron Maiden is Heavy.

I'm not much of a Metal Head But I do listen to some:

- Masterplan (Power Metal)
- Iced Earth (Power and Thrash Metal)
- Freternia (Power Metal)
