You must be the only disappointed user I've heard... I have no way to access Live even though I have the FREE Xbox live silver and I still have a blast with most of the games I've played on the system (I'm looking at you Over G Fighters). If you actually sit down and look all the hyped games are coming out when? Exactly around the PS3 launch... PS3's live service as of right now is still unproven, but I bet you that in no time flat you'll end up paying for something or else the company will go under supporting it. It might be two versions of PS3 live like Xbox has or they might just start charging to download anything off of there who can tell? Hell the game developers don't even know yet...Zinaida wrote:The Playstation Three is $600 and has free online service. The 360 is $400 and charges for online service. After a while ((the length of that while depends on which package you have)), you'll end up paying more for your 360 than your PS3 due to online charges.
That is, if you have XBox Live....but most XBox/ XBox 360 games suck unimaginably bad single player, so Live is almost essential.
By fourth gen, you'll have paid over $1000 for your 360.
XBox 360 sucks, and I have a right to say this because I'm one of the disappointed owners of the system.
Playstation Three > XBox 360. Period. End of discussion.
You take a look at games that will be coming out and the majority of them are going to be for multiple systems. Exclusive games are quickly going the way of the dinosaur because it costs so much to develop them. Though of course only true gamers will realise it's only about the games and not arguing about the systems that they are on.
