Though KHII could be called the conclusion to the story, given chronological context, some gamers who completed the game at 100% know that is not quite the case. There are still a few ends that need to be tied. Rest assured, KH is not a finished story.
At the recent Jump Festa, SE stated that we should expect to see more information on KH in mid 2007. Nomura has promised big movements for the Kingdom Hearts series in 2007, stating multiple projects are in the works. These projects go beyond just games, apparently.
The hype and news is now intense as KH is recieveing a little bit of spotlight. One has to wonder what it is SE is planning, especially given the fact that they have a myriad of projects on their plate, such as the FFXIII project, the Ivalice series projects (these are sequels to FFT and other FF games in the Ivalice realm), and now KH. What is SE planning? Only time will tell.
