That made him smile even more. His smiled dropped a second after. He looked out the kitchen window "Charlie..." He said simply, he looked back at her then the window then back at her, he wanted to see what her reaction would be.

"Hm? Something-" She heard the front door open and she gently pulled away from Edward. "I don't want to tell him yet, he'll think it's too soon" She whispers. Then she steps into Charlie's view and smiles. "Hi dad. How was the game?"

Charlie shrugged off his jacket and looked at Bella. "It was good! We won!" He said happily. He noticed Edward standing behind Bella. "It was ok with Carlisle that you were here?" Edward just nodded.

Bella smiled. "Do you want me to make you some dinner?"

Charlie shook his head "It's okay Bella I ate with Billy. Think I'll hit the hay" He said looking at his watch then Edward "What time did you have to be home?"

"Before Carlisle falls asleep" Edward replied

Charlie nodded "Half an hour" He said as he made his way up the stairs.

Bella nodded. "Goodnight, dad" Then she turned to Edward and smiled, knowing that he was now hers

Edward heard the door shut to charlie's room. "30 minutes, then I have to go" He put on a sad face.

"But I'll see you tomorrow, right? What day is it?" Bella asked, suddenly confused

Edward chuckled lightly and wrapped his aroms around her "Monday and yes you'll see me tomarrow"

Bella nods. "Alright"

Edward could hear everything, Charlie snoring up stairs, Bella's heartbeat, the cats outside, but he focused on Bella. "So in the remainder of my time here, what shall we do my dear?"

Bella pulled him to the couch and sat down. She patted the space next to her. "I don't want to do anything that'll distract me from you"

Edward smiled and sat down next to her. He put his arm around her, his free hand took ahold of hers "Nothing could distract me from you"

Bella smiled and leaned on his chest. She frowned slightly after a few seconds. "I can't find your heartbeat...but it's gotta be there. Otherwise you'd be dead" She smiled a bit at him, then pressed her ear back to his chest

Edward froze, the kind of stiffness only years could perfect to show true horror. He hadn't thought of telling her. He didn't know her reaction, he had half the mind to take her out to the woods in case she did anything irrational "Bella, wanna go for a walk?" He asked her, his fingers lifted her chin up to look at him which also moved her head away from his chest.

Bella looked into his face and nodded. She could tell something was wrong, but just barely. She got up and pulled her shoes on
