Some one here said they can track you on WinMX, that is wrong. WinMX doesn't require you to register it or leave and email address behind. You can even change your use name on WinMX frequently. WinMX is untracable, which is why you never hear about it when they're talkng about fileshareing software.

The real problem I have with WinMX are the stupid people that use it. They have music mislabeled, or credit is given to the wrong artist.

The music I share on WinMX are the out of print and impossible to find music. The ones that were never sold in the stores. I sample music on WinMX, and it would be easier if people actually knew what they really had on their computers.

And about those sites where you can download music for a fee. I've tried them for a free limited time, and I couldn't find a damn thing I was looking for. So inspite of their claim that they have it all, I still found them useless.

So the fileshareing will continue.
