Or is it related to the Mindless Chit Chat section, the section that boasts pointless information 'that no sane person would care about'?

It's not like your discussing someone's birthday in here, its not like the fact someone on the other side of the world was born today is meaningful. It's not like tomorrow you will even remember who's birthday is was on AA today.
