"Yes, as soon as Watari comes back with those video tapes, we can affirm this and begin our investigations properly," she looked out the window again and stood gracefully.
"We should see if we can pinpoint the area they are from as well. But we shall talk about this once we have looked at the tapes,"

"Hm...well, I'm not sure about everyone else, but I think I already know where kira is located. I can tell you for sure he's in Japan, but as to the region, well, you tell me where you think and I'll see if we agree." L said calmly, dumping more sugar into his tea and stirring it.

"Well, I think we can assume kira's near the place where that first victim was. You know, the elementary school jacker." Karin says, with her index finger on her chin, looking at the ceiling.

Keisuki nodded
"Well I had my suspicions, but I wanted to see if the news reports were just regional, rather than national. I thought we could merely confirm this theory with the tapes,"
Watari came back in with a bag full of tapes and a bowl of sugar cubes. He placed the sugar cubes in front of L and put the tapes next to the TV
"Which tape would you like to watch first?"

Karin jumped up and ran over to the bag. Smiling, she reached in and grabbed one. "THIS ONE!" she shouts, jumping over to the vcr and popping the tape in.

L watched as Karin picked out a tape and put it in the vcr. ". . .ok, that one first then." he said, slightly irritated, and almost wondering why he agreed to take her on as an apprentice.

Kuroda was watching Karin and L while she was looking on the computer at the files of the people that have already been killed trying to find a connection.

Keisuki stood and crouched sat infront of the tv, very close, so people could still see it above her head, but so she could study it properly. Her eyes were wide as she watched, playing with her ear without realizing it. Like L, she hardly slept and eye bags were under her eyes, not as much as her friend.
"These two news reports were shown only in the Kanto region. The first news report was also shown in Kanto, the elementry school one," she turned and looked at L and Karin, "We're in the Kanto region arnt we? Karin, put in another tape,"
