Karen awoke with a start, her eyes widening as she covered her nose just in time to stifle the loud sneeze that shot from her nose. Falling backwards onto the bed with a grown she let out a whimper.

How could she be SICK???

Coughing heavily as she stood up towards the small little kitchenette, she'd have to have it enlarged sooner or later, she started a kettle of tea.

There was a loud tapping on her door. Opening it wide there stood Jace and his ever so perfect sun golden hair and bright blue eyes.

Karen couldn't keep her feet about her, as she took in a deep breath her eyes drooping slightly as she fell forward into his arms. Jace as surprised as he could be dropped his package and fell backwards out into the yard.

"What the," he grumbled while pushing her up slightly when he felt her burning forehead and realized she'd gotten sick. He wondered how. "I guess I'd best get you inside."

Picking her up and carrying her with a lazy attitude he heard the whistle of the tea kettle and set about organizing and preparing the food he'd brought for her comfort. He wasn't a crude and uncaring man but he didn't particularly like being in charge or having responcibilities that were none of his business of course...she did just get here.

Finishing the small inside he noted that he should tell her of the home improvement that she could get for cheap if she were to bribe the carpenters with their favorite foods.

He looked out the small window into the baren sad looking yard and quirked an eyebrow...he hadn't pulled weeds in a while.

This could be his good deed for the year.

Rolling up his sleeves he checked over Karen before walking into the yard, squating down and doing the unbarebly boring task of pulling weeds.

Koryu tapped her lips, and looked at Zaka. "I think I have some stuff to go to the general store in the shed. But I'll need help loading it up."

Alexandria sighed, today was a boring day and it just barely started. Her eyes shifted around the shop as she had cleaned it spick and span but here she was with no customers and her brother had yet to bring the new girl by.

Alexandria was all for new people moving in.

She sighed and slammed her head on the counter, what a boring boring day.

"Oh! I know I'll go visit her!" she smiled happily while grabbing a basket filling it full of goodies and locking up the shop heading towards the farm district of their county.
