...um... if its about violence he should buy the pc gamer magazine with fear in it.... it says exactly THAT VIDEOGAMES DOES NOT PROMOTE CHILD VIOLENCE IF A CHILD REINACTS THE VIOLENCE BECAUSE HE SAY S ITS COOL ITS THE CHILDS FAULT NOT THE VIDEO GAME, AS WELL IT IS THE RESPOCIBILITY OF THE PARENT TO TELL THEM THAT IT ISN'T REAL. AND ABOUT THE VIOLENCE IT HAS ACTUALLY GONE DOWN OVER TIME

I can understand it being moved and there is no evidence of spam or flame YET till then it sohuld be left open now what was I going to say he can't succedd he forgets that amercia and canada are both(along with others)are demorcrices meaning there has to be a vote on laws so as like 58% of people enjoy sitting down to a horror(usally violent and sometimes sadistic and about 25% of the time gorry[though mroe in sci-fi nowadays]) movie genrally violent games and of course some anime. also lets not forget lots of things are considered violent checking in hockey could be considered violent so what should we ban hockey games and hockey alltogether and lets remember all games have "violence" of some kind even games rated E lets take tak or Jak and Daxter punching kicking hitting people with staffs thats violent to someone right I think he should worry less about cartoon and fictiaonal violence and more on the real violence like murder theft suicide.

I've read an interview by EGM with this guy. Let me assure you, this man will not achieve nothing anything except the misguided feelings of mothers who think videogames are bad.

I remember this guy, hilarious. The ignorance of people like him is astounding. It is rather funny that people like this guy want to censor videogames to "protect" children, when children only make up 35% of all video game users, and the average age of video gamers is 30. And don't get me started on misguided mothers, one mother tried to sue Take 2 interactive because she bought GTA for her son claiming that she wouldn't have bought the game if she knew of its content, somehow not seeing the black and white box labeled Mature on the corner. Sigh, I don't understand the highly protective nature of American mothers and senators.

Jack Thompson is pathetic. We have terrorist attacks and a war going on. There are religious wars in the middle east and the threat of nuclear weapons and this man worries about games that are inappropriate for children. Bah, pathetic
