emo, you'll find, isnt as depressing as cold play. and thats Indie. you cant just SAY that you hate emo without giving a specific cause for your argument, as it will lead to, and spark off flame wars for those who like emo, such as myself, and those who don't. please provide a good reason for this statement.

hmmmm i like atreyu... thats pretty emo... but i'm pretty happy...

i like scream-rock... reason why.. is usually have great guitar and u have to pay attention to get what the blood artist (aka screamer) is saying....

imo.... don't get bummed out about the news... so what if a soldier died... it's not your fault...deal your sympathies than live on without reminicing about the person you never knew...

I hate that word so much now. I mean every has EMOTIONS. If you think youre emo then you are either to scared to admit that you want to be goth or are just feeling sorry for yourself. GET OVER IT ALREADY.

its strange tho. people say emo is all about suicide, wrist slitting, etc. the only emo band i've listend to that sings about suicide is HIM. and then, its in a romantic way, just like Romeo & Juliet.

um... yeah emos arnt nessiarily depressed all the time. emo=emotional. you could have a happy emotion. there for you can be a happy emo. like my bf. hes emo but hes sweet, and hes kind and happy. not all emos cut there wrists and hit there parents. thats a fraudulent persona that needs to be put to rest.

Anyway hating emos isn't going to make them stop being who they are. If anything it'll make them more "emo"
