Absolute Anime

What bands/singers do you think don't get enough attention?


I think Delerium is under rated. Of everyone I know me and my mom are the only ones who know of them and/or own their cds.
I even made a thread about it, but did anyone reply? No.


Anyway that's all I can think of right now.
How 'bout you guys?

Well, you can't get angry at people for not replying if they don't know who they are. I'm always on the lookout for new music, if you can send me some, I'd love to hear it. What kind of music do they play, anyway?

Three of my all-time favorite bands are very underrated:
Qkumba Zoo/QZoo
Cocteau Twins
Ace of Base

People have usually never heard of the first two. And people who have heard of AoB only remember songs like "The Sign", having no idea they've put out three more albums and a ton of singles... all of which are incredible.

there are quite a lot of bands i could mention that are underrated and underappreciated in England. most of them seem to be canadian. The Trews, for example, i cant find any of their CD's in england, so, i'm trying to download them. Our Lady Peace also, is quite hard to find.

The Damones^^ I went to an All Amereican Rejects concert in July and they performed at it. Awesome energy^^ I wuffles them now^^

Our Lady Peace is well known in Canada, I guess 'cause it's the home country lol

And the Trews! Gods I love them^^ Not many people outside of Canada know much about them... though I lvoe them. It's funny about OLP really, I mean their older then Nickleback for cripes sakes.

Ooh, Delirium is Canadian too? I live in NYS, so I've grown up surrounded by Canadian stuff. For instance, I definitely know and love Our Lady Peace. Speaking of which, Tragically Hip is underrated too. Once I got outside that little sphere of Canadian knowledge, nobody had ever heard of the Hip.

The Medivel Babes are very much underapreciated. They sing wonderfuly beautiful celtic music. It's soooo pretty and lovely, yet most peopel I talk to just look at me funny for it.

A great under rated band in my opinion is Great Big Sea...god they pwn so much...such awesome music...I wuffles them. Peace out

They totally are, my mom has a cd of their's too. And on one of my Delerium cds they did vocals for a song

Dope Stars Inc and VNV Nation. Good bands, but not many have heard of them.

i think Vast dosnt get much attention... and other bands like The pillows and alot of techno groups dont get much attention either.

Underrated bands ...yeah, Damone would be an underrated band.

one band i've gotten into big since yesterday. FLy Leaf. i'm unsure if they are knwon in England, so, i think they're underrated. such an awesome sound

Indeed they are. The lead singer's father is from the city nearest to me xD. All of them signed my shirt I got at the show. Really nice people^^ I hope you get a chance to go, they are soooo nice. I got sooo many hugs from them. The guitarist with the long hair is awesome, we talked some^^ I gave him one of the shrooms I made^^ Such nice people^^
