Ooooh. This movie was definitely sad. Made me cry several times. Anyone who hasn't seen it needs to.

now i'm not the kind of person who cries a lot but this really made me cry. this is most definately one of the best anime movies out there and i highly recomend it

I've watched that when I was very little. It was in this VCR that came with Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, and of course, Grave of the Fireflies. They were all in Cantonese. It was too sad for me since I was only a little girl back then. I also thought that they were eating the fireflies since those fireflies were in this can.

I loved this movie. ^^

This was a great anime movie, made me cry it was very touching and for its time it was very well made. My friend who cries over hardly anything at all bawled her eyes out on this movie. It really helps you realize the pain of World War II, and the Japanese view of the war
