Absolute Anime

This may seem like a pointless topic but this talking about the future of gaming for this new year 2007 which will make it 49 years since the very first video game and 22 years since Nintendo arrived now that Wii, PS3, and 360 have all arrived and all 3 could possibly revolutionize gaming...or not so what do you guys say? What do you think is in store for us gamers this year?

sheesh you guys are forgtting the the Vista comming out for the PC as well as better Graphics...


tbh i think it's worth it to buy a $1500+ computer than sending money on a new system that's worth about 400+... why you ask?

because i'll be using it more (internet/gaming), instant online (with internet con of course), and i can use it for school...

07 will be a big year

It will be a big year lots of new things to come

i think 07 will be the year of the 360 because i got one.

07 will be a good year for all the systems, but I'm thinking 08 will be better for the Wii and PS3

I'd agree with that. Both Nintendo and Sony have promised numerous titles that all look appealing, but little has been said of them in terms of release dates, gameplay, etc. At the moment, Microsoft is easily winning the console war. They say the upcoming holiday season will be the true battle, but at the moment, it seems like Microsoft will still be winning, especially with the rise of Halo 3. Nintendo and Sony need to plan and release some AAA games, and quickly, if they wish to stand a chance.

ya you gotta point, i haven't heard of any really new games for the ps3 and the only one i have heard for the wii is super smash bros brawl which no one stilll has no idea when it will come out so ya it will be the year forthe 360

360 and Vista will own this year ^_^ then vista will own the next four years after then a new OS will come out lol...unless mac can come up with somethig that completely over takes Microsofts popularity... then PC games will prolly mainly go to mac if that happens...

anyway...

command and conquer 3 and my new computer FTW!! nothing beats a good RTS for an RTS fan ^

Windows Vista? HAHAHAHA Now that is funny! Those who get vista are idiots, Microsoft still has bugs to work out on that OS. I would wait about a year to get vista even than I am not going to get it untill I confirm it does not allow anything through my firewall.
